FIRE PROTECTION DEPARTMENT INTRODUCTION

Architectural , electrical and mechanical aspects of fire safety is considered as a whole Revit provides opportunity to make three-dimensional design in coordination with other disciplines. Based on the resulting design, hydraulic calculations made with OmniCadd and CFD analysis performed for fire modelling together obtain reliable fire modelling projects.

Programs
OmniCadd

Determination of the pipe diameter in the system, calculation of required flow and pressure for protection area are necessary for fire extinguishing system. In this direction, calculations made with OmniCadd hydraulic calculation program provides minimum margin of error.

CFD Analysis of Fire Protection Projects

FDS program is used to simulate fire and emergency ventilations. FDS is developed by The American National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for fire simulations. The Software is designed specifically for computational fluid dynamic. With this method, fluid behavior in dangerous or inaccessible areas, smoke and temperature distribution caused by fire can be observed. The accuracy of design and calculations increasing with this analysis and at the project phase it enables elimination of deficiencies or errors.
